Phone Interview, then a F2F.
The phone interview was a list of basic generic questions, that took up the full 30 minutes, without any sway on time spent talking to me. There was no indication of what the job was and little information about the company itself. Considering Ixxus is not a well-known company, attempting to sell the role to me wasn't something they were interested in doing. I had to sell myself to them, however this should be a two way street. The phone interview was overall uninspiring with little chance to have a conversation with the interviewer to get a feel for the company.
The F2F was an hour and consisted of more questions and a case study to be completed in a very short time frame, once again not telling you much about the company and what they actually do. I did decide it wasn't for me very quickly and started to disengage.
It seems they place a great deal of emphasis on candidates 'consulting experience' however when I probed the role, it seemed that the consulting role was minimal and you were mostly office based. Travel required up to 4 weeks of the year but that varies based on the client.
The office seemed very quiet, lacked a buzz when I was in, but perhaps that was because I was interviewing late in the afternoon.
Overall I didn't get a good vibe from Ixxus and feel as though they are trying to be something they are not yet.
Sadly because the salary bands are above industry average.

What do you know about Ixxus? (nothing because your website is awful and your interviewers didn't want to talk about it too much)

Generic check list questions, uninspired interviewer. Felt completely impersonal and without any sense of the job. Impossible to get a sense of the profile they were recruiting to very one sided process, clearly I didn't match that profile but I was relieved I didn't have to withdraw from the process - which I would have done. There's a significant element of travel for the role and they down play it - alarm bells were ringing.
