I was contacted by Intrasoft very quickly after my application. They called me on Skype on the same day and had interview with Kitty Nagy. Then they said there are few more interviews, the last of which is interview onsite, they will pay everything, plane, hotel, etc, then we will meet and have the final interview where I see the office and colleagues and so on. I said my salary expectation and on the first interview they said they want to top that, but after the interviews we can talk about actual salary based on my skills. On the very next day, instead of any other interviews, they were so excited with my application that they starting giving me "the sky and the stars". They said they don't want any other remote interviews and that I should be on the plane asap and go to their office. Oh, here comes more! They said they want me to sign an agreement with them that I should pull back all other companies proposal and should accept only theirs (once I get an offer). Asked me if I can be in Luxembourg even this week, I said "Yes" and started preparing. They said, they are arranging the flights, the tickets and the hotel and the availability of some client (I wasn't sure what client they mean..I thought Intrasoft is a big company that can hire me independently). On the next day, I saw my LinkedIn had a notification about a profile view and that was some big manager from Intrasoft who viewed my profile. I also filled in a large document with all my skills and projects that I worked on. They said they are looking for a long time for a senior developer with 8+ years experience and Masters degree, I had both (even 17+ years). After the profile view, I got a call again from Kitty and she said that manager said "YES, we can work with this professional" and Kitty then offered me directly a salary!!! 4700 EUR. I was happy that they didn't even wait for the interview, as it seemed they wanted to invest in me and I am the right candidate. Very good, it is a job in Luxembourg, I told them I have family and kids, they said it is very safe country, good for my family, there are English school. They said they give me 1000 EUR relocation money and so on and so on... So finally they said, they are waiting for the customer availability and I am on the plane and they were insisting this to happen this week (it was Tuesday, so Wednesday or Thursday I should be on the plane). I shared with my wife and kids that we are invited to work for a solid company for that salary (I thought it was solid), pulled back my other applications, I started preparations for my first trip. They didn't call on Tuesday anymore.... On Wednesday...they didn't call, so I packed to start the trip on Thursday, as this was the last chance to arrive on Friday (that week). They didn't call on Thursday.... They didn't call on Friday. After a while, I heard from other person, ...guess what? "The client told Intrasoft "NO", we will not work with this person". Hm, like I said, I thought Intrasoft is a solid software company, but as it seems they are just some outsourcing with no position to make decisions at all. Sure, all good so far...no worries. But I really wanted to THANK Intrasoft for "having the dignity to call me in person and let me know what is happening", so I can readjust my plans and tell my family. No one called me. Should I say more? I don't think so. So everyone, please, have in mind this review. I personally am very happy to see the real low level of Intrasoft beforehand and that I didn't waste my time/money to arrive there and see their level afterwards. To Intrasoft: Be honest with the candidates, just tell who you really are, always go forward with the truth, by speaking lies will not get you anywhere, even if you cheat someone to work with you like this, they will see who you really are in a few days after starting working and will leave, so again, go forward with the truth. And once you are exposed, have some dignity and apologize. You are looking for a developer for so long time, don't wonder why you still haven't found one? All the best!
