Entrevista
The initial screening was done over the phone by a member of HR who asked the general questions of how much experience I have, would my schedule work with the hours required, etc. Then, she got me in touch with the clinical director of the floor I would be working on. We did a rapid fire style of questioning where she asked me many questions and I asked her questions quickly. It was very evident that she was busy, and caring for her team and patients was #1 priority. It was hasty, there is no two ways around that, but on a unit as busy and difficult as ours, it is only to be expected.

How would you deal if two nurses or two patients asked you for help with tasks at the same time? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Are you ok with picking up shifts if needed? What do you do to decompress at home? Do you have a good support system around you? How is your time management?

Recruiter was nice , was rushed but wasn’t the bad part. We went over what position I applied for and informed her I can commit to the weekend due to the fact that I was taking classes . I get to the second interview for the imaging dept (CT). The interview was very causal . She only ask me tell me about yourself then ask what position I applied for and what shift . I tell her and she’s like oh that position already been taken. Then she emphasize importance of communication the irony . That’s all the questions she ask me and ask if I had questions. So I asked my questions and that was it she didn’t really give me a chance at all after she probably realized she fked up by giving positron to someone else already so I was irrelevant since I couldn’t do the other shifts. They just want to get people in asap which is crazy bc the job didn’t start till July.

Entrevista
You'll receive an unscheduled phone interview with the recruiter going over your resume and whether or not you'll be able to attend the 6-week course that's scheduled 2 months out. After which you'll schedule an interview with the nurse lead for the unit you've applied to. Where you'll once again go over your resume, and be asked 5 predetermined interview questions from a list. Then you're suppose to shadow other clinical technicians for 20 minutes. Overall, the interview process was dysfunctional and messy, with random interview calls and a disinterested nurse lead who went elsewhere, and forgot she left me to shadow in the unit.
