I would make 25 pairs of socks in the dark then choose 2 of the complete pairs. It’s a high possibility I would come out with a white pair!

I would pick as many as I needed to make sure that they matched.

In absolute darkness everything is the same color so It does not matter. Color only exists because it is a function of the visible light absorbed or reflected by the sock.

1 sock out of 50, that's a 2% chance. Very small chance to pull out a black sock. You can safely pull out any two socks and they will be white.

One pair. My socks are always bundled in matching pairs. In the dark, I can tell the diff between a bundled sock pair and a single unmatched sock.
