Decent interview process. Was asked to meet with the head of the department and was then invited for a multi-hour interview with back-to-back one-on-one meetings (30-40 min) with the team. Afterwards I was asked to put together a 20 min. presentation of my work that I think would be relevant to the position and my involvement in these projects. I was told that the team would be in touch "within a weeks time". I waited two weeks, sent a follow up email, and was promptly told by someone not on the team that I did not get the job. While I understand this happens, I found this to be frustrating considering I took a full day off of work for the interview process to be conducted, only to be emailed by someone not on the team that they had gone in another direction. A disappointing ending to an otherwise positive experience.

Fast, efficient and steady communication. Recruiter was professional at all times and accommodated current work schedule to setup interviews. Also we’re helpful in facilitating a salary that aligned to education and experience.

Entrevista
I applied online and received a screen request fairly quickly, which is where the positives end. The hiring team requested written responses for two sets of questions, which had significant overlap. The recruiter and I seemed to mesh well but, and this is not at all unique to ICF, clearly had not reviewed my resume. What was supposed to be a 15-20 minute call turned into 45, and we ended up talking a lot about culture, so in hindsight, it may have been less about me and more about them. The recruiter indicated they were moving me forward and would reach out in the next week for the next steps. Ghosted. :(
