I was invited down to meet with the team and a manager who was flying in from Houston. The job was to create a state of the art computing and data system for a massive NASA program. Meeting this manager was a shock. He cursed repeatedly and was obnoxious. This manager told me he intended to stiff the US government on their multibillion dollar project and deliver nothing functional in return. And he was livid that anyone might actually want to provide value for money. I was shocked, and ratted him out to the head of the scientific panel overseeing all NASA funding and projects. I wish now I had contacted IBM to make sure this manager's career was terminated.
