    Entrevista

    An initial ~30 minute phone interview. Standard set of questions (about my professional background, why I wanted to change...), and a bit of explanation on the product. Person on the other side was very nice, and interview went smoothly.

    From there, silence for about a month and then a standard “we’re moving the process forward without you” e-mail.

    No complaints, but would’ve been nice to know something sooner.

    The process consists on cv screening, phone call, 1º interview with recruiter and department manager and finally (as things are done differently at holded), there is a 2º interview with department members, which I found to be extremely valuable.

    The "process" has consisted in a kind phone call interview, then we agreed that they would send me a test via e-mail which I did not receive, even when I contacted them asking for the assignment several days after the interview with no answer back at all.

    Interview by phone to get to know then a take home challenge. The HR never responded back to me even I did the test assignment. Do not waste your time with this company.

    The interview process was quite fast, about 2 weeks overall.
    They contacted me the day after I applied from their website, we had a phone call were they asked me some questions about my experience in previous jobs and my ambitions and expectations for the position. After that they sent me a technical test through email, and as a final phase a personal interview in their office.

    I had a first call with the human resource department where I had the chance to walk them through my profile, learn more about the job position, the company and their future strategy.

    After that, I had a 2nd interview via Skype (I am not based in Barcelona) with the human resource agent that had already contacted me and the customer success manager. In this meeting, I went deeper into my past job experiences and future goals I wanted to achieve and they told me more in detail about the department procedures.

    The final interview was also a call with all the customer success team and we talked about the big challenges of the department, how it was structured and what is the strategy they would like to follow in the near future.

    TERRIBLE and incredibly unprofessional experience.

    I had a 5-10 minutes call to check my background with the classic questions (experience, why a change etc.). At the end they informed me that the next step would be a case. I'm ok with that, I guess.

    Some days after that the case arrived. I was asked to do a full description of a new app integrated in their system, with a roadmap, the mockups, the definition of the backlog and the epics and some sprints organization. It's quite a significant task to ask for after just investing 10 minutes in getting to know a candidate.

    So after spending many hours understanding their platform, creating a presentation with mockups, a roadmap, a whole jira project etc. I sent the case.
    After some days I got a copy&pasted answer rejecting my application. I'd be ok with that, the thing is that I'm pretty sure they didn't even invest a second checking the Jira project, as I didn't recieve any access request.

    So I asked for some feedback regarding the case. The last thing I got from them was the promise of sending me that feedback. 3 months have passed and I'm still waiting.

    Seriously, you can't ask candidates to spend so many hours after just spending 10 minutes with them and then don't even bother to check what they have made. And after that give 0 feedback, even when requested and promising you'll make sure to send it.

    I strongly recommend you to revise your selection process and make sure you don't waste candidates time, otherwise it just seems very unprofessional.

    Initial first contact via chat, then an interview via phone for around 30 minutes, the person from the other side was very nice, after this call, they send me a test after a couple of days, giving me one week to complete it.

    After completing the test, we did an on-site interview in their office, it went smoothly we talked about a lot of things, they explained to me the product and ask me a couple of questions. They give me the chance to ask questions as well.

    At next day I got a call with an offer.

    Call with HR about the company, salary expectations my previous jobs etc..
    After that I got a coding challenge, I had to code both the front-end(VueJs) and back-end(PHP microframework) of an application with DB access, for users and items creation.
    They gave me a week to complete the challenge( a really long challenge).
    After completing and sending it, they took 2 weeks to "correct it", they told me I was rejected for the position.
    I asked for technical feedback several times and never got an answer.
