Solicité el puesto en persona. El proceso duró 2 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Hallmark (Vancouver, BC) en ene 2013
Entrevista
After submitting my application in person, I went into the store three days after for a follow up and the manager told me that if they needed me, I would get a call by the end of the week. A couple hours later I was called and scheduled an interview for the next day. The manager who interviewed me was very nice and laid back and asked some form of the following:
-Why do you want to work at Hallmark?
-What do you know about our company?
-What does customer service mean to you?
-Describe a time that you used creativity to solve a problem.
-What is your biggest achievement?
-A time when you've had to work in a team to solve a problem.
And several more along those lines. They'll also ask about previous retail experience if you have any. After the interview, you're given a fill-in-the-bubble "integrity test" which consists of 180 -yes, 180- yes/no questions. It's just common sense but it's a bit of a drag to fill out. I handed the manager my test and she told me that I would hear back in a couple days. I got a phone call about an hour later and was hired :)
It was super chill. It was with my hiring supervisor and was very basic interview questions. Then she gave a lot of information about the role and expectations and how crazy Christmas hets

Interview involved getting to know me, what experience do I have related to customer service and how do I deal with different situations. It was easy and pretty straight-forward. Great chat.
Very friendly. Small office within the store. Asked about how I'd handle various guests in the store with different needs or emotional states. Got to meet different employees as they passed through.
