I was contacted about 4 weeks after applying online for a phone interview. Interview with hiring manager the next day. I contacted HR three times to check on potential updates. I was completely ghosted. Even if not moving to the next round, updating candidates is still the courteous thing to do! Especially after they took the time to prep and engage in interviews.
