Process took about 3 weeks. After the recruiter screen I had an interview with a hiring manager. He asked questions on frontend and backend. Frontend questions centered on Javascript and nuances of promises, callbacks, and async await. Backend questions focused on data storage. Then moved on to power day which focused on past experiences, api design, and included a simple live coding question. I was then given a front end take home. The recruiting process changed a few times throughout the interview process.

Recruiter reached me on LinkedIn. Had an intro call with the Recruiter. Then, I was scheduled a phone call with the Hiring Manager. This round contained both technical and behavioral questions. The technical section included basic JavaScript concepts & Microservices concepts. Overall, the interview questions were good. The interviewer was communicating well. He gave me a feedback for the next steps will be a take home challenge and on clearing it will be virtual onsite with multiple coding rounds testing JS knowledge and some cultural behavioral rounds. The next day I was informed by the recruiter that I had been rejected. Overall, I am very much dissatisfied with the interviewer. I do not understand why these hiring managers give false hopes by saying a positive feedback and then rejecting within 24 hours. Kindly, I request these people not to waste the candidate's time as we are also managing office work and giving a lot of efforts for the interviews. It is not easy. Finally, I would not recommend this company to others unless if you want to waste your time for nothing.
