I applied through their referral system, I received an email and completed the process, and filled in the necessary info. There are different steps on the process, but overall it has: - Universal Cognitive and Personality Assessment test & an Excel test, which took approx. 45min to complete. - HR interview, approx. 15 min long. - Technical interview with the manager, questions are related to the position, your technical knowledge, and your experience related to the job. - The business case preparation & presentation. The experience with Glovo to me was very interesting and was very positive ++. You are informed along the process regarding all the upcoming steps, and everything is well explained all your questions are answered.

Initial HR interview, followed by interview with the Hiring Manager, next steps are interview with engineers and business case, plus cultural fit interview. The process takes long time since interviewers arw very busy.

It was hard on the SQL test and I did not get hired, but I learnt thigs that helped me get my current job. I believe I did not get an offer because on the human part of the interview I fell in a trap, they asked me what was the value of the company I considered the least important and I said one without too much doubt.

I didn't pass the first call, the interviewer was really nice and friendly, he asked about my experience and my current position responsibilities. The email had no feedback, they simply say sorry and some other stuff about the company. The interviewer didn't seem to understand the questions and he approved all answers without any comments. I don't really memorise googleable information, the sort algorithms question is really not very good, I mean the O(n) can be memorised but only among competitive programmes and university students, since they use them all the time, a senior engineer is expected to solve higher level problems and this information is something that you rarely use, unless you are working on special systems like compression programs of image processing. The interview directly reflects the nature of the engineers that work there, they want competitive programmers, seems they lack framework and system design experts and prefer hackerrankers

The process involved: interview with HR, manager, business case submission & presentation to 3 managers. By the end of the 1-hour presentation, I was told I would hear back from them in the next days. I didn't. After following up with HR, they told me they still hadn't taken a decision and they would keep me posted. The fact that they take people's time so lightly volumes. The complexity of the business case (including a Google Data Studio data set with several data missmatches) required a good deal of time for any candidate, and one could argue that the expectations for such a detailed plan (including copywriting and forecasting) borders labor exploration (working for free). 3 months later, the job posting is still being reposted from time to time and I still haven't heard back from them. What else can I say?

Ho sostenuto un iter di selezione per la posizione in oggetto, al termine del quale, mi era stato dato un feedback positivo per l’ assunzione che sarebbe avvenuta dopo pochi giorni e tramite agenzia interinale, con contratto in somministrazione a tempo determinato. Avrei dovuto ricevere, però, la conferma del buon esisto del colloquio, per email, dopo pochi giorni. Dopo circa 10 giorni, mi viene comunicata, tramite una email pre impostata, l’ esito negativo del colloquio e quindi l’ impossibilità di procedere con l’ assunzione. Rimango basita, mi faccio una risata e proseguo per la mia strada. Dopo tre mesi circa, mi arrivare una email di una recruiter di Glovo, nella quale mi invitava a sostenere un lungo assessment online, a mio avviso esagerato per il tipo di mansione che avrei dovuto ricoprire (esercizi di logica, matematica, Excel ecc), senza specificarmi il ruolo per il quale ero stata selezionata. Faccio presente alla recruiter del mio pregresso assessment sostenuto pochi mesi prima, sempre con loro, e la relativa posizione per cui ero stata selezionata. La recruiter, senza specificare nulla mi fa capire che era per la stessa posizione e che si sarebbe informata con “chi di dovere” e mi avrebbe fatto sapere “quanto prima”. Dopo 3 mesi ancora tutto tace. Se questo e’ il mio di trattare le risorse, sono contenta di non far parte del loro team. Un comportamento del genere non mi era mai capitato dopo anni di esperienza professionale. Ciao Glovo.
