The interview was 45 minutes to an hour. We discussed Gartner as a company for about 15 minutes. We then moved on to discuss my resume and skills. For the last fifteen minutes we had a sales role play exercise to make sure I can recognize the client's needs and tested my listening skills.

What are the similarities and differences between sales and marketing.
3 interviews were completed starting with a quick screening, a second interview, and a final interview. Process took over a month, which was a long time in my opinion for the role.

Interview process was not bad at all. They do leave out a lot of info about the realities of the role. They make the role seem as though there is a lot of opportunities to grow as well as progression through the program and that is not the case.

What skills do you have that you believe to be helpful to you being successful in this role?
3 stage interview process. 1st stage was a phone call with a recruiter. 2nd and 3rd stages were competency and character based questions focused around a career in sales and at Gartner.
