I had two virtual interviews with the hiring manager(s) in the procurement sector. I met with the would-be direct supervisors in the first interview and then the director of procurement in the second interview, in addition to the primary hiring managers. There was occasional contact with the HR manager as well. Both interviews were about 45 mins- 1 hour. The first was entirely centered on scripted questions (ex. describe a time when you had a disagreement with a co-worker, what are you strengths + weaknesses, etc..) The second interview was much more lax and candid. It felt like a more genuine and organic interview as compared to the first.

Simple questions about previous experience & explaining certain work situations and what you would do in them followed by questions for them. It was overall easy and simple. Took about a week to hear back

They were very friendly and easy to talk to. The conversation was very engaging and almost felt casual. I recommend researching interview questions beforehand and practicing your responses. It really helped me having plan going in.

Applied on their career site and within a few weeks got an email to schedule an interview. Panel seemed to be great group of people, but that’s where the good experience ended. After the interview there was no update or communication for months. I thought I did not get the role and was ghosted. Several months later I was contacted with an offer, but I had already accepted another role elsewhere and they seemed surprised and and annoyed that I accepted something else.

Interview consist of 2 part. Behavioral and technical. 3 interviewer at same time. Technical part was easy. Just asking model validation thing. Show the accuracy metrics including precision and recall, ask which model is good. Why? etc

Very simple honestly. HR will contact you then they will set up an interview in-person or over Zoom. In the interview, they will ask behavioral questions and determine your knowledge of the utility business.

I had an in person interview as well as a virtual interview with two team members. The interview was about 1 hour and both interviews were behavioral based. Mostly it was talking about my resume.

A month after applying I received an unscheduled phone screening where I was asked generic questions about my interest and education. I then received an email which scheduled me for an interview. This interview was with three FirstEnergy employees where I was asked STAR format questions and then some generic ones. An offer was given to me 3 weeks later.

The whole process took about 3 weeks. First, phone Screen, and about 2 weeks after 3 in 1 video interview. It was smooth. I didn't get an offer, but this was a great experience.

Interview was 3 hours and most of the questions were not specific to the job just behavioral questions. Many of the questions were fielded by the hr person and not the managers of operations.
