Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Dillard's en mar 2013
Entrevista
I was referred by a friend who was a current Dillard's Associate. My resume had been shared with the Store Manager with whom I met once. The interview was very collegial and it mostly consisted of us discussing my past retail experience. I focused a lot on retail culture, effective management skills, and the Dillard's brand. I was told that there would be an available ASM slot, and, by the next week (following this interview) I was offered an ASM position.

There really were no difficult questions -- it was a very organic conversation between two individuals. I did however make sure that I knew a lot about Dillard's (history, culture, and private label) beforehand.

Very unorganized, no one knew what the other managers were doing. Norma the shoe manger was a nasty person and doesn’t like caucasians. Very back stabbing & they treat sales associates like trash.
I was heavily recruited. It was a smooth process. It consisted of 2 interviews. It was consistent with other retailers. The questions were answered and it was inviting . That’s all I have to say about my experience at Dillards

After introductions and light conversation you are asked about your work experience, customer service skills, personality traits, et cetera. Many of the hiring managers keep the interview process light and easy going.
