First interview with the CTO went well and was quite positive. Second interview I was asked to write some algorithm, which was quite surprising, but it went well. Then didn't hear from them for 2 weeks... the recruiter somehow forgot to call me back but they wanted to follow up. I was given an coding exercise to submit. Not easy, but interesting, a few hours of work. I never heard of it again, no feedback, nothing. Then a full day of on-site interviews, a junior dev asked me to write some algorithm on white board. First time I saw this for an SRE/devops interview.. The code didn't even relate to Ops or Systems stuff, and again, didn't mention or gave feedback on the home exercise, which was more ops/system related. Other interviews went pretty well. Received a no-reply email late on a saturday night, with no explanation. I think they should be more upfront with the level of developer skills/experience they want for an SRE, and provide a little more feedback after 6 interviews.
