    Work environment is pretty cool. They were under construction since the company and office is growing exponentially. Very welcoming staff. Had a whole kitchen with goodies and drinks (beer options included). Met with Director of Recruitment in a conference room. The interview lasted for about 30 minutes. She asked very basic interview questions such as background and experience and why I want to work for Dashlane.

    The recruiter was very friendly and professional. She got back to me within a day or two and scheduled an interview based on my availability. I've applied at Jobs where you don't hear back for days, and when you follow up they finally tell you the position was already filled, but that wasn't the case with Dashlane.

    R1: phone interview. R2: on-site interviews with a PM, the hiring manager, Design Lead. R3: on-site interviews with the Chief Product Officer and HR/People.

    Enjoyed rounds 1 and 2, but the interview with the CPO was uncomfortable and felt more like an interrogation because of his hostile demeanor. The interview took place in a small windowless room and there was only a narrow table (where I left my folder of materials open) between us. As I was answering a question, he abruptly leaned across the table, plopped his elbows onto my folder, put his head in his hands and just stared at me. He was literally in my face, asking rapid-fire questions. He also cut me off, interrupted, and seemed easily irritated; his tone was snarky/condescending throughout the interview. Not sure if that's just his personality or he meant to intimidate. Left me wondering whether he treats male candidates the same way.

    HR came in after and asked how the interview process was -- a funny question, I thought, after such a strange, and off-putting, interview.

    It's unfortunate that the job didn't work out since the product is great and everyone else I met was friendly and professional. I was surprised to witness the behavior that I did, especially from a leader in the C-suite.

    I went through an initial phone screen, phone interview with the hiring manager, in-person interview with 2 team members and a second in-person with two c-suite team members. They were very transparent about the process and were communicative. After each interview, I received a phone call from the current talent acquisition coordinator asking me about the experience. Overall it was a positive experience even though I did not receive an offer.

    After the 1st interview with the US recruiter, 1 week later they contacted me for 1 interview with the CEO and the founder. I was offered overnight an interview mid morning while I work. It was explained to me that it is difficult to organize interviews with senior management (70 people in a society?). I made myself available and went to the office while interrogating me : do they consider that candidates are available to them ?, and worrying from a professional perspective ( I'm recruiter) : do they manage all the applications in that way ?
    During my interview with the founder I raise the point, he explains that there is a room problem (ah?). Then quickly gets defensive position, interrupts the interview, let me go without escorting me, and giggle : see you !
    After a long silence and 2 mails, the recruiter called to tell me that there has not been a good fit (really?), but that I deserved an oral's feedback
     That is true. Like all candidates who invest time in a recruitment process. But then it's too late, the candidate's experience is negative.
    Despite the positive points : innovation, and CEO franc and human, the overall feeling with regard to this start-up is bad : lack of flexibility and agility, lack of respect and politeness.

    Had a phone call, a 1-on-1 and a group presentation. All in all, a very pleasant experience, all done online/over phone, all very professional and kind. I got told I wasn't hired over a dedicated phone call with extensive, helpful feedback, none of that automatic email crap, very personal.
