After applying for the role on the Danaher company website, I was contacted by a recruiter and had a first round phone interview that I felt went very well. The recruiter moved me on to the next round, telling me that her scheduler would reach out to me either later that day or the next day to set a time to speak to the hiring manager for the second round interview. After a week with no contact from Danaher, I emailed the recruiter and was told that the role was filled. I felt it was extremely unprofessional to tell a candidate they are going to the next round and then simply never contact them again.

initial phone screen with a recruiter, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, or the top person whose team I would be on. I was filtered out after the second interview, so not sure of any further steps.
