Initially had a couple of telephone interviews. Was told that this was not the norm (normally there'd have been an additional face-to-face interview) but since I'd come highly recommended, they wanted to keep it simple. I then met with the hiring manager and the team leader to have my one and only face-to-face interview and to give a presentation (for which I'd been given a topic already). Interestingly, at the end of the interview, I was set the task of writing a business letter in response to a pre-defined scenario, which they said caught a lot of people out. From here, I was made an offer within 48 hours.

I was contacted by the recruitment agency and asked if i would like to interview for the role based on my online CV. Initial interview was telephone based with a Technical Architect from the technology area and lasted approx 60 minutes. Some technical questions but more of an informal chat about my experience. Second interview was face to face with the Technical Architect and Resource Manager. I was asked to create a presentation beforehand based on a limited number of topics provided to me that I could deliver within a 15 minute timescale. During the interview I was also asked to write a business email based on a provided scenario. A number of technical question were asked and i was also given the opportunity to ask questions about the role and organisation.
