Recruiter screen followed by hiring manager screen. The two weren't aligned on the requirements for the role. It was very disorganized and I was surprised that the recruiter passed me to the next interview if I didn't meet the basic experience they were looking for in the role. Ended up in FAANG.

Had a recruiter screen which I thought went well. Got ghosted when i checked back in for status. All I got was an automated rejection email after she implied during the call that I was a great fit. This just speaks volumes about the lack of alignment between recruiters here and the hiring managers. She thought i was a good fit, clearly the HM didnt even want to talk to me so she ghosted me.
