I had a phone interview with Chevron for a summer internship position. The interviewer was very friendly as well as professional. She asked standard interview questions, and had me repeat myself a few times to ensure she had the details correct. There is a downturn in the market currently, so when I followed up with an email I wasn't surprised to get no response in return.

I had a two person interview team. STAR method used for questions. Low stress and inviting environment during interview. Explained process of decision making after the interview. Candidates will be evaluated after interview and will receive a response if chosen or not chosen.

Friendly HR and panel. They will make you feel comfortable before interview proper. A good balance of behavioral/ situational and technical questions were asked, and nothing too hard. I already saw myself working their immediately after the interview because of the culture and interactions with the people.
