I had an initial interview with a recruiter as a get to know you and it was a very unpleasant interview as the recruiter made me very uncomfortable. He interrupted me several times, would not allow me to give my background in full, and after hearing me speak for 2 minutes on my background he interrupted me and basically told me that the position is not something I would want “career-wise” and was essentially putting words in my mouth. This was very discouraging coming from someone who is a recent grad and is still trying to find positions that match their interests and goals. The recruiter spent more time speaking to the fact of how CapTech tries to compete with other larger firms such as Deloitte and EY than he was inquiring about my experience and background.
