Initial phone screen to ask what the background was and if you could apply to security clearance at Secret level. All followed by video interview with team and then offer if they wanted to proceed. Very quick process that raised some eyebrows. Team was looking for NLP production experience which seemed to suggest they wanted a chatbot engineer given the consulting teams' 2/3 week project timelines recruiter mentioned. Red flag when recruiter asked that they were looking for someone with 2 years of experience with graduate degree and if I was "ok with a below market offer" which started at 115k in CA?? Red flags everywhere.
