Applied through employee referral. Was contacted within the week for a phone interview. Next week had an onsite with 3 members of the team. Was contacted a week later to come in the next day to interview with 5 others. Most of the interviews went really well. I connected with team members, learned a lot about the position, and even went through a shadowing session as an introduction to the tools and processes. The only bad interview was with the potential manager. He was incredibly rude, short, dismissive, and judgmental from the very beginning. At the end of the interview, he said, "Glad this is over with. The next person is so-and-so, he'll be much nicer." I'm not sure what the problem was but it was clear he either walked in not liking me or he would just be a horrible person to work worth. Either way, I knew right away I either wasn't getting the job or would turn it down.
