Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. El proceso duró 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Bio-Rad Laboratories (Hercules, CA) en sept 2011
Entrevista
I was told I would be interviewing for a position that required contract drafting, negotiation and 40 percent would be more clerical or "mundane" work. I was interviewed on the phone and given a test that required me to rewrite a vendor contract, which I did and I put a password protect on the document so no accidental changes would be made. I was asked to redo the task but not put a password protect this time... ...I did so. In the interviews, I asked several interviewers which of my skills they felt I had that would be most useful in the job. I was told by one senior person that my International experience was something that stood out for him in this respect. I was later asked by the last interviewer which of my skills were most useful and replied with the skills that other interviewers had expressed to be most useful and was told there would be no negotiation, no contract drafting and virtually no international work done at all. I later noticed that the person hired was a person with this experience and much younger than myself. You may draw your own conclusions.

None of the questions were difficult; the side comments seemed to indicate there was a great deal of politics and stress going on. People were impatient and knocking on the window and door during my interview. It did not seem well planned. Of the six interviewers, I was very happy with 5.
The first interview was with the hiring Manager for this particular role, then with two other managers from different teams, and finally I interviewed with several members of the team I would be part of.
