I was blindsided by it. An email arrived inviting me to a Zoom interview in 2 minutes. I was never told the interview was scheduled and had to scramble to put on a blazer and get the tech set up. It was terrible. I was working with an outside recruiter and never figured out if BMO or the recruiter screwed it up. Seriously unprofessional interview process. It was months from the first contact about the job until I interviewed, so I never took them seriously. After the interview process, I can confirm that I gave them the level of attention they deserve.
