The interview process felt really daunting at first, but turned out to be rather relaxing. After submitting my job application i was telephoned a few weeks afterwards and asked whether or not i would be able to come down to the store to undergo a face-to-face interview. While in the interview the interviewer was very nice and friendly and kept repeating my name, which i can only guess was to increase the connection between us. After the interview the showed me the stock room and outlined the different roles i might be asked to do i.e stock room picking, giving out catalogues, being placed on the till, and then when i went back into the managers office i was presented with a red Argos shirt and was told that i could start the following weekend if i wanted.

What skills / experience would you bring to the job?
A few basic questions about what you’re like, what you’re good at, what you can offer etc etc etc
Thought it was relaxed and okay, friendly store manager was interviewer
You had to do an online assessment with your application with some scenario questions and then questions that are personality tailored. Then offered a 1 to 1 interview supposed to last 30 minutes

Casual conversation talking about experiences, skills etc. What the role was about and responsibilities it carries. Asked my availability and flexibility. Make sure you have questions to ask the interviewer asking about key aspects of the role.
