Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Appian (Tysons Corner, VA) en mar 2020
Entrevista
First round was a 30 minute phone screening - fairly straightforward resume review and some questions about my interests. Heard back very quickly and scheduled the second round for a week or so later. Second round was a 60 minute phone interview - typical behavioral interview with a consultant, touched on a lot of my past experiences and how they have prepared me for the job. Heard back from the recruiter later that day to begin scheduling final round interviews. Final round interviews were supposed to take place on-site in Tysons Corner, VA, but due to Covid-19 the format was changed to be a series of virtual interviews. Final round interviews consisted of four consecutive 30 minute video interviews - spoke with two consultants, a manager, and an upper level executive, more extensive behavioral interviews as well as a deep probing about why this company. Received a phone call from the recruiter within a week with the feedback.
Overall - The process was quick and about as pleasant as an interview process can be. The HR department was delightful to interact with and every employee I met with was very kind. A hiring freeze caused by Covid-19 prevented me from receiving an offer, but I probably would have accepted It had things worked out.
The interview process comprises four stages: an online assessment, two technical interview rounds, and a final HR interview. The online assessment includes two programming questions along with basic computer science fundamentals. The first technical round focuses on coding problems, while the second technical round consists of scenario-based questions. The final HR round evaluates cultural fit and overall suitability for the role.
Online assessment, then two technical interview and then final HR. They expected webdev projects and in depth knowlwgde in sql and one programmig lanuage. The questions were easy and CSE & IT students were given preference.
All behavioral, really focusing on past experiences and why Appian. 2 rounds of interviews and then power day. The first round was all tell me about a time ... type questions and fairly random questions. Next round was more behavioral questions and most in depth with your resume. Next step is power day
