I have listed the Job Title I applied for as "agent" although to be quite honest, the entire process was a bit shady to begin with. I most certainly did not apply for an insurance sales position, nor would I have applied. Nonetheless, I attended my "interview" at an office building (the sort of building you could perhaps rent an office by the day). We (as in a group of 8) were pulled in for the "second phase" which consisted of a spectacular presentation by a man in a nice suit and wing-tipped shoes. He is quite good at what he does and could certainly sell an Eskimo a freezer. However, if you're like me, you are cautious of such things and given the chance you may have found him years before attempting to sell you cable service or a cellular phone. He is just good at what he does. With that said, if you're shopping for a pyramid scheme in which the CEO gets rich off of your hard work and ability to fork over your own time and money for training and supplies, by all means, sign up. This was just not what I was looking for. I guess I still believe that a salesman that confident in the position he is hiring for and that passionate about how great the job is, will provide the means necessary for proper training, pay, and supplies. NOT INTERESTED. Still, 6 months later, they call me regularly with the same vague description and would I be interested in setting up an interview with "The Taylor Group". They have called twice this week stating they found my resume on Career Builder and were impressed with my background. What they failed at was the lack of knowledge that I in fact removed my resume from Career Builder 6 months ago when I inadvertently attended one of their cattle call sessions.
Super easy, they want to hire you because managers are measured on how many people they hire and retain. No past experience needed. They love a salesy attitude and over achievers

First round was a general webinar/ zoom with zero interaction - more of a business presentation about the opportunities, followed by a survey form to fill out and return. 2nd round was maybe a 20 minute 1 on 1 interview where I was offered the position on the spot.
Standard interview questions - had a group interview and then a one-on-one with branch manager. went through all the steps to obtain cert and timeline to get started. Made aware that this position is purely commission based.
