The whole process includes 2-3 rounds of phone screens and 5-7 rounds of on-site interview.
I got through the first 2 rounds of phone screens and am awaiting for the flight to Amazon campus (Seattle) for the full day interview.
The phone screen didn't have much technical questions as I expected but a lot of behavioral questions:
tell me about the projects you have done,
what do you like about those projects,
why do you leave your position,
describe any difficult situation when you have issue communicating to your team and client,
how do you resolved that conflict
what are the risks you identified in phase (x) of your projects
....
The interviewer was very prompt and sound professional. Overall the phone screens did leave me a good impression of Amazon.
Applied, Recruiter Screen then nothing. Not sure when I'll get a call back. The process seems super complicated. Will apply again now that I know what they are looking for.
HR Screening was scheduled. Then 1 technical screening phone interview was scheduled, followed by two Behavioral interviews, followed by two System design interviews, followed by 1 bar raiser interview. Lastly there was an offer.
