Lengthy interview process with multiple rounds with different people (some of which were rescheduled multiple times) and then they ghosted me at the end, I never received an offer or a rejection.

Interview with hiring manager on Teams. All good and professional. I asked if they are not looking for internal candidates. Turns out they have no desire to hire from outside the company. They are only looking what is available. Such a waste of time and the ad was clearly not a real one.
