I applied for this job through another job search website. On the morning of my interview, I got an email via that site that said I was scheduled to come in at 3pm that day. I thought it was odd to be scheduled for an interview without a phone call but I went along with it. I responded through the website email to confirm I would be there and then scrambled to find someone to meet my son off his bus, find something to wear and prepare mentally for the interview. When I got there, I was greeted by the "Manager of Hiring" who said she wasn't expecting me. So even though she was the only one that had any say in the timing, she wasn't expecting me, which is not a very good way to start out. I felt like I had to immediately do damage control and was not as able to concentrate on the actual interview. She also mentioned that I was the only one that complied with this quirky process on that particular day yet I didn't make it to the second round.
