Entrevista

First, HR interview about your skills, then they will send you a technical test. If you pass it, you will meet with your future team and they will ask you about your code (you should know everything really good) and then if you pass it, you will get an interview with the CTO. Well, I passed every steps, and at the end they declined me because of the experience, but they know it before all these steps. The reason was really poor for me. I waste a lot of time for nothing. They choose another guy and they were not too transparent/honest.

My general impression about the company and the recruitment procees is quite disappointing - complete absence of professionalism and maturity. The process started with a general introduction interview with the HR, with very basic questions - Tell me about yourself, your achievements... Then I had the second interview with the head of the department. I was asked to highlight some parts of my career relevant for the role followed by some specifying questions. After the interview he mentioned that they will be sending a task the same day that I would need to complete for the next stage. The task wasn't sent and I had to remind on the third day and after appologyzing they have sent a task which was to prepare a complete market research plan of 15 pages to be delivered in 4 days. It looked like using a free source of getting their things done. I prepared a general outline of the plan that could have been acceptable for this type of tasks, without giving any specifications that I was willing to share on later stages. After that they again went dark and I had to remind them to give me any feedback and after only after another reminder in 2 weeks they finally got back to me to inform me that I haven't been selected for the role. So it was a negative candidate journey for me by the end of which I lost all my interest and motivation to join the company.

Good to know the research lead. There was no HR interview. I did one task which was ok. The interview with the hiring manager was not clear because he said he wanted sonething but with the offer then they changed their mind. They do not really know what they want. They don’t pay what is offered in the market for what they say they want

I applied on LinkedIn. The first step was a phone interview with HR. Followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager. Afterwards I had an interview in-person with HR and the hiring manager and finally a one-to-one with someone from the sales team. They made me feel comfortable throughout the entire interview process and they were always updating me on the nexts steps.

First a call with HR, and after that a code assessment. After doing the code assessment with some design principles and patterns like vertical slicing, TDD, DDD with pure aggregates, the feedback I received through the recruiter (HR never gave me back any kind of feedback) after doing some push was: - No repository pattern (I don't want to use this pattern) - No service layer (I don't work with N-Layer architecture) - Code not ordered (it is ordered, but you need to understand what vertical slicing means) ... So really junior answers in my perspective...

First round with HR recruiter. Second round online with recruiting manager. Third round in person with 6 different functional heads all with a different competency to assess. Great interview process. Very thorough.

1. A recruiter called me and we had a phone call of about 30 mins. The recruiter was nice, open, and approachable. She explained to me key elements of the company for me to have more info. Afterwards, she asked me to tell her a bit about myself. The whole conversation was smooth and nice; it didn't feel like a screening at all. 2. The new VP of marketing and I had a call on hangouts of about 1 h. The call again didn't feel like an interview but more like a vision and marketing organization conversation. The questions were focused on how would I develop a content strategy, what I had done in my previous role, what I thought about different content sources, etc. 3. 5 people from the 21B team interviewed me in their offices. Each person interviewed me for about 30 minutes and then I had a final meeting with the Marketing VP. The interviews had a nice and informative tone. All the interviewers showed me that they cared about my interest in the company and also asked me relevant questions about my experience and the different areas that they cover. From influencer marketing to product feedback, it felt like an open (even if slightly too long) conversation rather than an interview. The interviews covered behavioral, technical, and cultural fit. All along the way, the recruiter had been checking in with me and making sure to answer any questions I had. I quit the process before getting any offer because I had found another job not related to content that better fit what I wanted to do next.

After an initial phone call, I got an assignment to do at home, which took me around 7 hours. In a couple of days I was called in for a code review with the CTO. They informed me I was not through because "I lacked some knowledge around position requirements", which to be honest was fair given how the interview had gone.

Entrevista

The process starts with the typical phone screen where they tell you about the company and they ask some questions about your experience. All perfect up to this stage. They sent me their Android coding challenge and I implemented the app in one week(max time you have to implement it). After two weeks waiting for my feedback I decided to send them an email, just to know if I was still on track, and if I wasn't, to ask if they could send any technical feedback on the test I spend a lot of time and effort. I never received a response to my emails. I would expect some respect for the developers spending time on their coding challenge. Decent companies always provide some feedback to the professionals that applied to their open positions.
